Terminator Salvation Review

A cool movie with a cool effect.. The most shocking part of this movie is appearance of T-800, which is previously played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. They used CGI to create a likeness and T-800 is cast by Roland Kickinger. The storyline is definitely better than T3. A cool & must watch movie!

4.5/5 ratings!

Terminator is back, so do the haze!

" I will be back" famous quote by Arnold in Terminator Film. However, the haze from Sumatra is also back. In conjunction of the released of the Terminator " I will be back!" Salvation. According to The Star The reading of Air Pollution Index (API) in Kuala Selangor is highest in the country at 74 as at 11am Saturday due to open burning in Sumatra, Indonesia.

A spokesman from Department of Environment (DOE) said based on a report received from Indonesia on Friday evening, there were more than 30 hotspots detected.

Kota Tinggi in Johor was second after Kuala Selangor with its API reading at 66, followed by Port Klang and Muar at 65.

Seri Manjung in Perak was next with API reading at 62.

...Spooky coincidence, but true!

PS* ppl in Sumatra. Watch out, when the wind direction reversed, we will revenge by smoking cigarettes and eat more char kuey tiaw( Fried noodle which famous for its smoke during its preparation ). Maybe can go Tokong also.

Angels & Demons (film)

I really don't expected much from this film as I was disappoint with the previous Da Vinci Code, but turn out that this film really isn't disappointing at all. The storyline is a little different from the book to make the film understandable and keep the film within their runtime, as you can see Angels & Demons is really thick. These are some of the differences of the storyline compare to the book :-

1)The Camerlengo in the movie is Irish, not Italian.
2)The first murder does not take place in the man's apartment in the movie.
3)Robert Langdon saves the life of the 4th Cardinal in the movie.
4)The story of the parentage of the Camerlengo does not come out in the movie.
5)Many of the scenes in the movie have many police around, but in the book Robert and Victoria are alone.
6)In the book a BBC reporter and videographer play a major role. They are not in the movie.
7)The head of CERN plays no role in the movie.
8)Vittoria doesn't wear shorts in the movie.
9)The assassin is not shot in the foot.
10)The assassin is not nearly as large as described in the book.
11)The assassin does not kidnap Vittoria in the movie.
12)Robert is not nearly drowned by the assassin.
13)Robert is not trapped under a marble casket in the movie.
14)Robert does not go up into the helicopter with the Camerlengo in the movie.
15)Robert doesn't jump out of the helicopter in the movie.
16)The name of many characters differ from the book.

The film also act as a sequel to Da Vinci Code not prequel. I would rate this film 4/5 points.

Pocong mystery turns out to be teen prank

Compiled by YENG AI CHUN, TAN SIN CHOW and A.RAMAN

THE mystery behind the appearance of a pocong, a corpse-like ghost which has been haunting road users near Kampung Padang Temu in Malacca, was solved after one of the victims caught the “phantom”, reported Harian Metro.

The pocong, which has caused much fear, turned out to be a prank by a group of mischievous teenagers.

The pranksters were exposed when a victim, Abdul Rahim Abdul Majid, 51, caught the “wraith” when he was returning from work at around 1.30am.

Abdul Rahim had a shock when he reached the turning near a surau on his motorcycle and saw a white object floating from a huge tree.

“I had an uneasy feeling and thought for a while whether the object was really a pocong or not. So, I turned back and went towards the object.

“I found that it was only a telekung (prayer attire) that had been hung from the tree using a string,” he said.

Abdul Rahman said when he pulled down the telekung, he found that a pair of eyes had been drawn on the “head” with red paint and a polystyrene float was found inside it.

He took the telekung to the village council for action to be taken.

Meanwhile, the council met up with a group of teenagers who they suspected were behind the act and advised them not to repeat it.

Expedition Robinson producers apologise to M’sians
By YUEN MEIKENG

PETALING JAYA: The producers of reality television show Expedition Robinson (Survivor) have apologised to all Malaysians for the scene depicting a naked race on an island around Mersing, Johor on May 3.

Strix Television, which produces the Danish version of the popular Survivor series, explained that the scene was not pre-meditated and was not part of the actual shooting.

In a statement Friday, it also gave its full assurance to the relevant government authorities and Malaysians that the scene would not air.

“This was an inexcusable incident, a huge error of judgment and a devastating blow to the good relationship between the Danish production and the people of Malaysia,” said the company’s executive producer for Denmark Jacob Juhl.

He added that the company had also explained the situation to the Central Agency For The Application For Filming And Performance By Foreign Artistes (Puspal).

Juhl said the director responsible for the incident was immediately terminated and described the latter’s decision as insensitive and insulting.

“The call was made outside the chain of command and has affected the integrity of our organisation,” he said.

Strix Television senior executive producer Frida Aberg said the company wanted to continue to work with Malaysia and boost its tourism industry.

During the episode which was filmed in Malaysia, 16 out of the 22 contestants ran in the nude while five others who refused to bare it all were forced to eat caterpillars to decide who should be sent back to Denmark.

A female participant who opted out of the race was sent back immediately.

Save our Earth!

Dear friends,

Lets do something for the earth by practising recycle and friendly environment activities. Nothing in this world last forever, including earth but that does not mean that we people have the right to kill the earth and all the animal in it. Every day, every hour, every minutes we are polluting the environment; air pollution, water pollution and etc. Please everybody, the below is the list of ideas you can do to help the earth.

1) TURN OFF THE LIGHTS.
This will help you to reduce your bill and the earth will thanks you for that. Wonder why turns off light will help? It is simple ; the electric is generated by fossil fuels, such as fuels. So when you use electric it will boost up the usage of fuels. Which means more burnings!

2) SEPARATE YOUR GARBAGE.
Think before you throw!

3) USE LESS WATER.
Its time to use a cup of water to brush you teeth! not a waterfall tap.

4) DRIVE SLOWER.
Means low fuels burnings means low emission!

5) SHOP WITH A RE-USABLE SHOPPING BAG.
Stop using plastic bag!

6) CARPOOL.
Means you share your call with someone else, even if you don't like the person. Use public transport if possible.

7) DONATE OLD CLOTHING.
Donate away your unwanted cloth!

8) PRACTISE PAPERLESS CULTURE
Means more Email, scan file and store in computer, use hanker chief instead of tissue and anything else would prevent you from using paper!

9) SHARE THIS MESSAGE.
Or you can ask them to view this blog! Hope it is helpful
