Iron Man 2 Official Trailer

Can't wait for the release of this movie sometime around May this year. Hopefully it will be as good or better than the first.

Cast
Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man: The head of Stark Industries, inventor and the film's eponymous superhero and protagonist.
Don Cheadle as Lt. Colonel James "Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine: Cheadle is replacing Terrence Howard from the first film. Howard said, "There was no explanation, apparently the contracts that we write and sign aren't worth the paper that they're printed on sometimes. Promises aren't kept, and good faith negotiations aren't always held up." Entertainment Weekly stated Favreau did not enjoy working with Howard, often reshooting and cutting his scenes; Howard's publicist said he had a good experience playing the part, while Marvel chose not to comment. As Favreau and Theroux chose to minimize the role, Marvel came to Howard to discuss lowering his salary – Howard was the first actor hired in Iron Man and earned the largest salary of the cast. The publication stated they were unsure whether Howard's representatives left the project first or if Marvel chose to stop negotiating.Theroux denied the part of the report stating "the role of War Machine was scaled back and then beefed up".Cheadle only had a few hours to accept the role and did not even know what storyline Rhodes would undergo. He commented he is a comic book fan, but felt there are not enough black superheroes. The character will don the War Machine armor in the film.
Mickey Rourke as Ivan Vanko/Whiplash: This version of the character includes elements of both Whiplash and Crimson Dynamo from the comics. In the film, he will be the son of Russian scientist Anton Vanko, who, in the comics, is the original Crimson Dynamo and creator of said armor. Downey offered Rourke the part during a roundtable discussion with David Ansen at the 2009 Golden Globes, and Rourke met with Favreau and Theroux to discuss his character's role. Rourke almost dropped out of the role due to Marvel's initial salary offer of $250,000, so the studio chose to increase the deal. Rourke researched for the part by visiting Butyrka prison. He suggested half of the character's dialogue be in Russian. Whiplash will act as the main antagonist of the film. In the trailer, he is shown using electric whips.
Gwyneth Paltrow as Virginia "Pepper" Potts: Stark's closest friend, budding love interest, and business partner after Pepper replaced Obadiah Stane as CEO of Stark Industries.
Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow: An undercover spy for S.H.I.E.L.D. posing as Stark's assistant.. Johansson was cast after a scheduling conflict forced Emily Blunt to drop out of the part.
Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer: Rockwell was considered for the role of Tony Stark in the first film, and he accepted the role of Hammer without reading the script. He had never heard of the character before he was contacted about the part, and was unaware Hammer is an old man in the comics, whereas in the film he will be significantly closer to Stark's age. Originally thought to be a major antagonist, Rockwell says his character is "plucky comic relief, but he’s got a little bit of an edge".
Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury: Jackson initially had financial problems with Marvel and was unsure about reprising the part of Fury, until they reached a deal that would entail his appearance in up to nine films as the character.
Jon Favreau will reprise his role as Happy Hogan, Tony Stark's bodyguard and chauffeur. John Slattery will appear as Howard Stark, Tony's father. Garry Shandling appears as Senator Stern, a senator who wants Stark to give Iron Man's armor to the government.Paul Bettany will again voice Stark's computer, JARVIS. Clark Gregg will reprise his role as S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson from the first film.Kate Mara will appear as an FBI agent. Olivia Munn will play Iron Maiden. Stan Lee will appear as talk show host Larry King.

Lexus First Hatchback CT 200h

Lexus is introducing their latest entry-level hybrid to its portfolio, The Lexus CT 200h is due to debut for the European market end of this year.

Toyota is continuing its quest to spread hybrid technology throughout its entire lineup of vehicles and the next stop for the hybrid train is the all-new Lexus CT 200h. The CT 200h is the production version of the Lexus LF-Ch concept which debuted last year. Although the CT 200h is toned down quite a bit from its concept form, it still shares much of the design philosophy first seen five months ago.

Unlike its HS 250h sibling, the CT 200h forgoes the largish 2.4-liter inline-4 engine and instead uses a 1.8-liter VVT-i four-cylinder engine. As is the case with Toyota's other hybrid vehicles, the gasoline engine is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), electric motor, and a NiMH battery pack.

Toyota isn't discussing official fuel economy numbers for the CT 200h, but it does say that the vehicle can travel a measly 1.2 miles and at up to 28 mph on battery power alone.

Assuming that the 1.8-liter VVT-i engine used the CT 200h is the same 2ZR-FXE motor used in the Prius, expect to see stellar fuel economy for the vehicle. The Prius is pegged at 50 mpg combined, but every aspect of the vehicle from its tires to its body shape to its underbody is designed to slice through the wind with the utmost efficiency. The CT 200h has a more conventional shape, but we'd be surprised if it dips below 40 mpg combined using the same powertrain as the Prius.

KUALA LUMPUR: Controversial self-proclaimed billionaire Elie Youssef Najem, who pledged RM1bil to the National Cancer Council (Makna) in 2006, was caught with allegedly US$66mil (RM220mil) in fake money.

City commercial crime unit division chief ASP Izany Abdul Ghany said the 50-year-old Lebanese national had been renting a room in a four-star hotel in the Bukit Bintang area here for a few days when the incident took place.

“He had apparently tipped one of the cleaners with a US$500 note. The woman, ecstatic over the windfall, went to a money-changer nearby to convert it to ringgit.

Elie ... is alleged to have tipped a hotel cleaner with a US$500 note
“Instead, she got a shock when told it was fake. She complained to her supervisor who then alerted the police,” he said.

A police team led by Insp Ridhwan Ani raided Elie’s room and discovered a leather bag containing 60 “US$1mil” bills, 60 “US$100,000” bills and 40 “US$500” bill which added up to US$66.2mil.

There are no such denominations in US currency. Izany said the highest legal banknote used currently in the United States is the US$100 note. The US$500 note was issued in 1934 and still has value, but can only be traded in the US Federal Reserve. The US$500 Federal Reserve Note features a portrait of President William McKinley.

When questioned at the Dang Wangi police station, Elie did not divulge any information as to where he got the money or what he intended to do with it, Izany said.

“When asked why he was renting a hotel room when he owns an apartment in the city, he said he staying there because it was convenient for him as he is attending a court hearing in a case against him,” he said.

It is understood that Elie was charged in the Kuala Lumpur Magistrates Court on Jan 8 under Section 417 of the Penal Code for cheating.

It is learnt he was charged for being involved in cheating over office supplies sales in 2005. As a result of the pending case, his passport has been witheld.

Izany said police were investigating the case under Section 489(c) of the Penal Code for possession of counterfeit notes which carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years and a fine.

Elie has been remanded for 14 days until Jan 23 to facilitate in investigations.
